Lawnmower won't work

Everyone of us sometimes or the other might have had a problem with our lawnmowers we all have been in this position we all had questions got no answers for them. Follow a few of these steps and your mower might start

  1. Sometimes when the lawnmower doesn’t start it might not be a serious problem it might just be dirt in your spark plug most of the time just cleaning the spark plug might be a good option and it is an easy step and may ensure the safety of your mower. To do this simply you have to disconnect the power socket and with the help of a wrench remove the mower’s spark plug if you find your spark plug wet or if turned black you might have caught the bull by the horns. Use sandpaper to clean the spark plug make the spark plug free of dust and water when it is free of these two it will work smoothly when it’s free of dust and moisture place it back.
  2. Sometimes when you are using a gas lawnmower and it abruptly stops it might be that your mower has finished with its fuel there may be other factors too like there might be water in your fuel tank just take the fuel out let the water out and then refuel the tank now it might work. Sometimes we keep the same fuel for months inside the tank it might be that your fuel has gone stale go get new fuel for your mower.
  3. Now sometimes the mower vibrates while working there may be the case that the lubrication isn’t properly done go for the oiling of your mower.
  4. Sometimes the blades of the mower also get bend thus causing the excessive vibration of the lawnmower or may be the blades are not properly balanced take them out once balance them properly while fixing them. Do make sure your that your mower’s blades are properly sharpened so requiring minimal amount of torque hence the force required would be less and the vibrating sound will fade away.
  5. Sometimes the spark plug and the air filter gets lot dirty make sure to either replace the air filter if it doesn’t get properly cleaned it will make sure a smooth working and running of the lawnmower. Sometimes the air filter gets chocked with carbon in it its better to replace it.
  6. Sometimes the cleaning of the carburetor helps proper functioning of the mower cleaning it is not tough as you think there are just nuts on underside of carburetor remove it pull it off and take the carburetor out clean it and you are done.

Following these simple steps may help you avoid going to the repair shop often and you won’t say that lawnmower wont start.
